Hurt my feelings? All I did was expose your complete ignorance as to who Rodriguez is and what he's accomplished. 5 of his 6 losses came to world champions and 4 of those 5 are likely headed to the Hall of Fame. Acting like he's some stumble-bum for losing to Chocolatito, Nietes, Ioka, and Nakatani? Clownshoes.

Within 30 seconds of first round i knew this isnt going to go well for yafai... yafai wasnt prepared for that power and strength, he couldn't push Rodriguez back and was forced to trade against a stronger more experienced, tougher guy. Yafai gave it his all, true fighters heart but that alone wasnt good enough tonight. Take rest of year our anf get rebuilding next year with 3 / 4 fights and see how the division is standing back end of 2026Comment

This guy is like a tempered piece of metal, carved out from the fires of hell that he had to go through to were he is tonight. A lesson to boxers to keep trying even after you have some losses. Glory may be just around the corner or at the end of a very long mile - but it is there. Damn good fighter!!Comment

Winning your fair share and being in entertaining fights against top guys should be what it's about, not being undefeated.

I wish losses in boxing didn't mean so much, there's been ufc superstars with as many losses as Francisco, some ever more and some don't even win the world title and they remain big deals.

I couldn't agree more. I think that real boxing fans understand this. It's the others that we need to educate.Comment

Taking losses to Donnie Nietes, Junto Nakatani, Moises Fuentes, Kazuto Ioka, and Chocolatito shouldn't hurt your standing. Taking losses to domestic level dudes or cherrypicks gone wrong is a different matter entirely.Last edited by famicommander; 06-21-2025, 11:02 PM.Comment
