I have faith that Crawford will come to win and that is all anyone needs to worry about.

He knows he is special and believes he can win.

If Crawford doesn't come to fight, it obviously won't take away from what he has already accomplished, but I think it will tarnish his reputation because, as Brooke put it, this is the first and only non-mediocre, non-damaged real Champion Crawford will fight.

I think Shawn Porter was both of those things. He wasn’t uber elite, but he wasn’t a stepping stone either. Every fight he was in he gave 110%.

You can certainly build the case of Spence being, not mediocre, but inactive and damaged. Regardless, I don’t think it’s as cut and dry or unequivocable as Brook stated it.

If Crawford can’t hurt Canelo early in the fight he has no shot.

Mayweather wasn’t jumping up 3 weight classes (I say 3 because Bud had 1 fight against a low level no hoper at 154) and wasn’t facing a more seasoned version of Canelo. Floyd schooled him but a much different scenario than this fight.

          Apples to oranges.

            Stop it, Bud clearly won.

Canelo was never hurt in that fight. Never in danger or rocked. Certainly overwhelmed and couldn’t figure out Floyd.

Canelo came down to Floyd’s weight. If Floyd went up to 160 we have a different fight. I don’t think Canelo believes Bud can hurt him so he will be more aggressive early unlike the Floyd fight. Those 2 fights have nothing in common.

Still funny how so many dissed Canelo for fighting a super welterweight, to only then beg him to fight a welterweight

I'm with you, you know your boxing for sure. I'm a Nelo fan, and he hasn't look the same the past few years since the Caleb Plant fight. If he brings out that version it's an easy win for Canelo. I know Crawford is extremely and technically skilled, too, and I think Crawford could potentially beat him even if he's the huge underdog.

Can’t see Bud winning this if Canelo is as sharp as he was vs Berlanga and Munguia. Canelo will take 2 to get off 1 and he’ll end up bullying Crawford like he did Charlo, not quite as dominant but still an 8 - 4 7 - 5 clear win

Mean mugs don’t win fights. Effort and performance does.
