Come on George, no need to be hinting now.
Just come out and say it, do it, and then stick to it.
Retirement is what I'm saying.
You had your moment in the sun but that was five years ago and you've been lapped by the new kids.
You also can't handle the power and depth at 140.
Thanks for giving the fans some good fights, but you're done, so hang 'em up.
I remember saying when he first moved up. Kambosos is food at 140. Too small, not enough pop and not technically gifted enough.
If he does retire, he will do so as a massive overachiever. Was essentially unheard of going into the Bey fight, pulled off two 50/50 wins over Bey and Selby then a huge upset over Teofimo.
Never has anyone made the most with the least quite the way that Kambosos has. He wasn't afraid to fight the best out there and he was game . It would be wise for him to get out now instead of risk permanent damage for less than he is used to making. Go enjoy your life George, you earned it the hard way.
He better retire...he's practically lost EVERY single round in his last few fights against Haney (twice), Loma and Hitchins and has been stopped twice. However, kudos to him for pulling one of the upsets of the century by beating Lopez and becoming undisputed champion and for making a shit load of money along the way.
