Any confirmation about Turkilency's plan of reducing the size of the ring?

I haven't given much thought about this until Billy Joe Saunders made a ruckus in the media when he was demanding a large ring in the Canelo fight. Then I checked out his fight against David Lemieux on Youtube and man it was hyuuge! The undercards on lighter weights in that boxing event looked like dwarfs! And BJS's fight with Lemieux was what encouraged him to call out the Mexican superstar. He was so proud of his work in that fight.

It indeed makes a huge difference on boxers whose game plan is to run in a fight.

Yeah, it makes no sense watching a guy running in circles the majority of a mere 3 minute per round fight. Investor's money going straight down the drain. Money that should have been spent on deserving fighters. Who would want to see such garbage again?

Can't believe how small the ring was last night for the Vito fight. I'm all for it. If you want the payday, fight in the smaller ring or forever be a duck.

I don't see any promoter or investor going against this idea. It's their money that is on the line. They also try to spend less as they possibly can. A smaller ring might save them a few thousand dollars. I'd be surprised to see a promoter being against this.

Look how huge the size of this ring is.
This is one of the undercards in the Billy Joe Saunders vs David Lemieux fight:

I don't know about the carnela thing but I remember how happy he was with the ring against lemiuex. Paraphrasing "I saw the ring before the fight and was happy how big it was cause I knew for sure I was gonna win"

Making it seem like he or his team didn't bring it up in negotiations. But if that's the case golden boy or EOTT promotions dropped the ball.

Golden Boy and Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions were the main players as EOTT played a very small part in the negotiations for this fight
