Wilder is right now in the same place where Joshua will be in Four more years. I think, that if Joshua's team can put this off just one more year, Josh might really have a chance. Wilder will be into his 40's then, and a decade removed from his prime by then.

Basically buying an easy KO for Joshua to try to convince the world that he's still got it. Anyone who knows boxing knows that it's a farce.

When will they stop with these 'if they both win then they'll fight each other next' nonsense? It's been a full-on squib load as of late. Both guys have seen better days but we don't need to know if they'll fight next...especially if the current bouts haven't taken place. Just make it happen without the 'announcement before the announcement' headlines.

I'll still watch it but Deontay appears to be the most vulnerable of the two at the moment.

                  Just make the fight.

At this point either of them could be retired with another defeat. Obviously you wouldn't think Herndon would beat Wilder but it's a risk that isn't worth taking when there's still big money on the table for a Joshua fight.

And for those yawning at the thought - it would probably do better numbers than the upcoming Undisputed championship fight.
