The benavidez beat down obviously eroded plants confidence plus took a lot out of him, he did very well to last the distance, i thought the ref shd have stopped the fight late, as for romando; if he was a little more confident he would have undoubtedly stopped plant.

I would still like to see a grudge match between plant and Charlo, but if Romando fights Charlo it would be fun, interesting betting odds perhaps....

WTF is a "lifestyle brand" anyway?
As if I'm going to buy and wear anything that says 'Revenge Tour' on it that looks like it was written by a drunk house painter?

Haha, plus the whole concept is flawed. Revenge is not the correct response to adversity.

I'm always the sap who wants to give most boxers in their thirties the benefit of the doubt: surely they have a reserve tank or two left to pull them through, but I didn't see that with Plant. His left hooks (his one effective punch) don't seem to sting anymore and he was reluctant to do anything but try and make Armando reset, which he kept failing to do. You'd always get some sort of entertainment with Plant, for better or worse, but the dude took three clear beatings in his last five fights. Four if you call what Resendiz did to him a "beating." Time to consider the Retirement Tour.

            Breadman didn't help him?

Against old Dirrell, maybe, and they got some help from a rope malfunction and a hasty ref in the McCumby fight. Their track record otherwise is lacking.

Plant's entertaining, but his best wins have asterisks.

Of course he did! Didn't you know that Breadman Edwards is the greatest boxing trainer since Eddie Futch?

Who exactly was Plant seeking "Revenge" against?
Nobody cares about him or Charlo.

Plants best wins came against very close competitive fighters that every big name stays away from. Plants is the only guy to beat McCrumby and the only other guy willing to fight McCrumbyis Pacheco.
