Glad to see Jermall Charlo back and in good health after the issues he was struggling with for the last couple of years.
Of course he was not going to be fighting a killer so to speak because the man has been out of action for a good spell. I’m not going to knock him or disrespect the man like a lot of arm chair beta boys are doing.
Looking forward to seeing Charlo progress and hopefully stay on an upward trajectory.
Time will tell as the competition improves.
At any rate good to see him back in action.

Before I can assess Charlo, have to see how he looks in his next fight. Plant is done. Bek the Bully would provide more of a challenge than a cornflake.

Firstly, I have massive respect for Tommy LaManna, he is not a bum. He is not world class either. Who thought he was? Second,!here is overwhelming evidence that there is no such thing as God, so can MoFo stop praising and thanking their non-existent friend in the sky?

WHO were the DUMBSHTS that put Kyrone Davis into a guaranteed loss fight???? Cuban fighter, unbeaten, all KO's, with a massive AM record. I cant imagine anyone would have thought Davis could win against such a fighter!!

did anyone else find it comedic the way each time charlo landed a punch, lamannas body found it impossible to react to it postively, every punch seemed to have an effect, like man vs boy

I saw this as it was- an extremely rusty fighter who is coming back from serious inactivity and a ton of baggage holding him down being served up a made to order opponent who would at least make him work if not threaten him. Charlo was rusty. He is coming back from a serious ton of baggage, like International Airport at Thanksgiving level of personal baggage. Cornflake was there, working hard, but was certainly not an opponent that should beat Charlo. So all boxes checked.

I am glad Charlo is healthier than he has been. If he is not world class anymore, we shall see. But he handled this first fight. 168 has names. Not a ton of elite talent, but names. He will have opportunities, even if Plant does not seem to be it.

I enjoyed the first 2 bouts. Like what I saw out of both Hernandez and Lucero. I will happily seek them both out to watch again.
In general I really enjoyed the card. The undercard had entertainment, I like the pacing of the card ..they rolled from one fight right to the next without much empty talk between bouts. Even the Plant/Resendiz fight was enjoyable...

Yep, I totally agree. It was a very smooth flowing event. A ton of other events could learn a little.
