I partly agree with that sentiment. To his fighters yes. He was crooked. However, to us boxing fans; No he was not. He was good for us boxing fans.

As a promoter; He was no different than any other promoter when it came to scruples and ethics. Check out Dana White.

He provided us with some of the best entertainment ever. He gave us our money’s worth with his stacked championship PPV cards.

Before Turki there was Don King. With the best fighters fighting the best fighters.

He fixed fights. Straight up.

There is no repairing the damage he did to the reputation of this sport (and The Ring, the IBF, the WBA, and the WBC while we're at it). He is a cancer and boxing would be in a much healthier state if Don King had never been born.

The last Don King promotion I remember was Dubois vs Trevor Bryan and the production of that was hilarious, Steve bunce said he felt like he had travelled back to the 1970's.

Pulev and Hunter deserves to be on a freak show promotion so it's fitting

Don king is the 93 year old ****roach of boxing. just when you think hes gone hes comes back


hes fallen off a lot since the early 2000s when he ruled over the heavyweight division but he never fully dissolved his promotion company. i guess he lets someone else run it, no idea
