He called out the Robinson & Orzubek Nazarov they ducked him. So he moved up.

Hes definitely Top 20 lightweight. You just went out of your way to add historically boxers that you never seen fight live or you have a disdain for molsey.

of course he had a better career in higher divisions

I forget what magazine is was but in the 90s. He had a A+ boxing report card. I have to find it.
I never said he didn't fight any ring ranked fighters. I said he fought 3 maximum and 1 that was ranked in the Top 5 in holiday.

I mean, whatever the reason, his Lightweight resume is crap. That's just a fact. I don't care if he was undefeated there he beat one fighter ranked in the Top 5 and coincidentally was also the only time where he looked pretty average, vs an average fighter who happened to be the only half decent fighter he fought there. That's not an ATG Lightweight and it's definitely not "one of the greatest Lightweights of all time". There's about 50+ of more Lightweights that could have gone through that piss poor resume undefeated.

Cliff Rold did a Lightweight ATG list a few years back and in that article I don't think Shane was in the Top 25. And if he was he was near the bottom.

There's more than an argument he's not the in Top 20 and he absolutely without doubt is not close to the Top 10.

For any new boxing fan, the time is not long before a fellow fan points out a magic number which grows more mythologized with time: eight. As in boxing’s origi

Right so like I said, lower end of 25. Actually #25.

He's not an ATG Lightweight, and no where even remotely close to "one of the greatest Lightweights of all time", that is for sure.

Well, if you place importance on golden era boxers that none of never seen fight then of course molsey would be top 25. Most realistic people don't put high stock in fighters from the 1800-1920s because they fought alot of bums. Plus they didn't allow blacks to fight whites. It's apple to oranges like i said before.

None of those former champions fought Mexicans and etc on the daily like today. Pernell Smokes most of the people pre 1950s. Mosley too. Imo

You will not admit most of the people you listed you never seen fight. You just read about them or watched old clips on YouTube. They had alot of bums back in those days. Molsey smokes half of them. Of course not Duran and etc.

I don't know what you consider "realistic people" but I'd hazard a guess that there is not a single legitimate historian of this sport such as Cliff Rold for example who we've cited who would even entertain the laughable notion of Shane Mosley being any where near a Top 10 ATG LW list.

His resume at LW is straight up, utter crap. Surely you can't even deny that? He legitimately has one half decent win at the weight.
