The sport is an abysmal state. And I don't see a new crop of guys coming in to excite people.

It feels like the era of boxing is just in the past. It will always exist, but it is becoming the fringe of the fringe and there aren't alot of youths watching it. It feels funny to see posters touting their favorite fighters. No one except a handful even care.

Jake Paul vs 60 year old Mike Tyson was the biggest thing to happen in boxing for years. Think about how sad that is.
There's a lot of exciting fighters coming up and top young champions that like to brawl. I'll let you do the research.

Be careful what you wish for. If Teo turns up on form he most likely beats Devin.

Bill, chill. Devin is a smooth boxer, but he's no Holman Williams. He's not Miguel Canto. He's not Finito Lopez. He's not Jose Napoles. He has holes, and he better close them fast. And you're holding him back from closing those holes. You don't know a right cross from jesus on the cross. You can't spell boxing. Bottom line is Devin has the work ethic but he isn't improving on certain things. He doesn't hurt nobody. No one gets stopped by him. He punches at targets, not through them. He's not sitting down on nothing. As soon as he makes contact, he's already on the move. You can't get none like that. That's slap boxing. He's one of the top slap boxers in the world. Calzaghe was a master slap boxer. But he also knew how to sit down on shots. He hurt people. Devin has to be under someone who can teach him how to hurt someone. He can't keep pecking ppl for a paycheck.

Put the dads on the undercard, if you're going to do this fight. Just saying... They both love to run their mouths and to make their sons back up their smack talk in the ring. Battle of the crazy dads.

Teo should challenge Brian Norman first at 147 (can he invoke WBO Super Mando?) and then go fight Boots for 3-belt unification

Let's see. A well past his prime Loma was 32 when "Gordo" defeated him, Taylor was 32 when "Gordo" defeated him and Barboza was 33 when "Gordo" defeated him.

Now I ask you to name a fighter that was good, at the top and was Teo's age when he defeated them? I'll wait! Devin didn't lose to Ryan Garcia. He lost to doping with performance enhancing drugs and steroids.

Which was later overturned to a no contest.
Nice whataboutism. And yes you can say the same thing about Teo. Loma, Taylor, and Barboza were all old when Teo fought them. Because I criticized Devin you think I'm a Teo fanboy?
