I partly agree. Wilder took up the sport late and only to make money. He just didn’t have enough time to become a well-rounded and scientific fighter.

Becoming an all-time great and a Hall of fame inductee was the least of his concerns. I don’t believe even in his wildest dreams that he would have become as successful at it as he was.

Boxing was his calling card all along.
