Well it certainly didn’t look like it; Judging by his last bout. That performance has to rank up there as his worst.
Not only at the 168 weight pound division but perhaps his entire career.

He looked very old and slow. Canelo fought as if he just showed up for an easy pay day and didn’t train. He looked very unfocused, undisciplined and unprepared.

All of Canelo's fights are polite sparring sessions now, nobody trash talks him or mentions Canelo's dodgery and business greed to keep robbing the fans. Plausible theory mate. Canelo could manipulate that through Sulaiman's judges. Easily. This fight has a phony feel to it. The staredown had zero tension or grudge. It was boring. Like two business partners pretending to resent each other.

Crawford is acting and talking so "polite" about this fight. Real fights went off script and they trash talked and exposed the other's flaws and *****. Can see this one staying on script and be a dull soft sparring waltz. Like all the other Canelo shows.
