Don't think it was Klitshcko he popped for think it was Christian Hammer but still yeah, good question.

Floyd got caught cheating and not many cared. Usada literally knew he was breaking their own rules, didn't care or do anything, then helped him cover it up later by giving him a tue that didnt apply for what he did, oh and the Nevada athletic commission also helped by saying ok sure. It was a portent of what was to come under tr-ump where crime is now legal. Rules for thee not for me sucker!

And for the same reason Hughie Fury popped, but given no penalty and was still allowed to fight Parker for a title they tried to job him out of in Manchester.
The Furys had the dirt on someone, stood over them and paid others off is my reckoning.
But imagine if Hughie had been successful ? Not that it mattered because Parker ended up getting jobbed by Joshua and then Whyte.
Funnily enough it was through all that when Parker and Tyson became BFF's and his Uncle Pete got sidelined while Hughie disappeared into an acne filled nightmare he hasn't woken up from.

There's an alternate universe where he never even fought Klitschko due to being banned after his previous fight where he popped for PEDs. We wouldn't have ever heard from him again.
And another Universe where his ban wasn't conveniently placed around the Klitschko fight but right through it.
They both make more sense than what actually happened.
His entire career hinges on that decision. And it's a nonsensical one. They declared the Hammer fight a no contest... then his title win in his next fight stands... then he's banned again from a few months after the Klitschko fight.
It's ridiculous.keith_head likes this.
