Let's be totally honest here, "Average Joe" Parker almost lost to Hughie Fury. He was so cumbersome and slow he made Hughie Fury look like a modern day Muhammad Ali at times as Mick Hennesy eloquently put. Those two are of a similar level.

That team Fury thought Baby Hughie could spend 12 rounds on his bike and pitter patter his way to victory was the real joke.

The Mighty Oilskin wasn't even close to losing to Hughie, but that British narrative of thinking all UK fighters are the best is hard to dispel.

But back on point, Hughie was also caught gobbing pigs balls and paid no penalty for it.

Fury tested positive for the hammer fight, which was weirdly covered up and then bought up only when fury became a political problem for the BBBOC, the whole thing is shady.

For the Wlad fight, it was in wlads fortress of Germany, on Wlads promotion, on Wlads network, Wlad was the AAA side, he was pulling all his usual tricks, trying to make the ring a bouncy castle and all the rest of it, you can bet your life fury would have been tested to an insane degree by K2.
