What was that last night? Was that a fight? Looked like Canelo chasing after Usain Bolt out there.

As its known by now Canelo is losing a step or two which is normal for a fighter with that many fights under the belt I must say but its also known it takes 2 to tango and Scull went it there to survive and collect a big paycheck, that man never intended to get his hand raised not boxing the way he did winning was never part of the plan for the cubano. Easily one of the dullest and grayish fights Id ever watched.

I hope Bud brings something different to the table, boy supposed to be special fighter so thats exactly what I am expecting to see from TC.

Cutting off the ring is an offensive tool, but it is not the same as offence. Cutting off the ring is a footwork technique in much the same way the L-step or pendulum step is. You can set up offence off of any of these techniques, but they are not inherently offensive. If someone bounces on their toes like Bivol does, they are pendulum stepping, even if they don’t throw jabs and crosses while they bounce. If a fighter is moving forward and mirroring the lateral movement of their opponent to pressure them and force them onto the ropes, then they are cutting off the ring. You are mad at Canelo for not establishing consistent offence off of cutting off the ring, not for his inability to cut off the ring, since he was cutting off the ring for the whole fight.

But Canelo was not forcing Scull on the ropes, he was allowing Scull to constantly move laterally around the ring, off the ropes. Why do you think Canelo could only land 50 punches if its not connected to cutting off the ring? It's almost as if he could not catch his opponent long enough to land punches because he can't cut off the ring effectively. He was partially doing it only.

When Santos, Teo and Benavidez struggled to catch their opponents and chased them around, all I heard was they could not cut off the ring, but when Canelo does it for 12 rounds apparently he did cut off the ring. You can't make this crap up.

It's not like anyone is going to stop him from doing that.
Turki sees boxing as his own personal entertainment. He isn’t about what the fans want nor does he want unbiased journalism

              Not really.
Turki is working for Mohamed Bin Sultan who calls all the shots in the country. It's a giant PR campaign for the kingdom, not a personal hobby for Turki.

Canelo has made an entire career based off of bogus fights that created the mirage that he’s this monster.
The truth is he was long exposed when he fought Mayweather and Lara.
After that the pattern was established as to how he would proceed in terms of opposition.
it took him a Period to age out Golovkin and then going forward the bulk of his resume has been abysmal with a laundry list of no hopers, mediocre opponents, old men and little guys moving up in weight.
Scully is the prototype of what is required to be in This cowards sweepstakes.
Bivol was a mistake. Team Canelo thought Bivol would follow the script because he didn’t look spectacular in his last three bouts, just looking to score points and get a decision. But they underestimated just how skilled and high iq he is and Canelo got slapped around for 9 rounds and checked out of the fight mentally as early as the mid way point. He definitely made it written in stone that Benavides would not be invited to the sweepstakes no matter how bad his ducking looked.
And yeah his sorry fanbase look even worse trying to keep boosting this fraud up and gaslighting with their laughable narratives.
So tonight why should this farce be any different??
So now we head to September for a bout with another small opponent up in age looking to upset the apple cart in Bud Crawford.
But this time it may turn out to be a mistake like Bivol was. I sincerely hope so if for anything to see this manufactured fraud get exposed again and to see how creative the gaslighters will be with the excuses and other entertaining narratives.
Just curious, who is your favorite fighter?

People used to complain that he avoids slick black fighters, he fights them and haters still complain! No different than when Boots fought Karen! Hard to look good against dudes that don’t wanna engage! (At least in the first Boots scrap)

Sometimes fighters would fight defensively vs Mike Tyson 'But he was still able to eventually get to them, knock them out or more clearly out box them over the distance. Canelo Alvarez should have been able to close that distance, and beat down William Scull. But he did not'.

Overall I think William Scull deserves credit for being able to evade Canelo Alvarez for 12 rounds 'I wonder whether coming into the fight, his goal was to just survive the 12 rounds. Because no matter what people say now about him? It is still a creditable achievement surviving 12 rounds vs Canelo Alvarez. That is a good performance to have on his resume'.

If Canelo Alvarez's future opponents decide to use the same tactics 'They are automatically forfeiting the fight. That is why I don't expect the genuine proven elite level fighters such as Terrence Crawford to fight with the same tactics. Yes they may well be putting themselves in more jeopardy, but? They would also be giving themselves more opportunities to score points and win the fight vs Canelo Alvarez'.

I don't particularly think Canelo Alvarez had a bad performance; he won almost every single round 'Stylistically William Scull was just not engaging with Alvarez in the areas of his game, where he is at his absolute best. This is just basic tactical warfare, which is used even in military battles'.

Note: Boxing is a battle sport, so people should not expect all fighters 'To just turn up on fight night, and use the same fight tactics. If promoters, the media and boxing fans have an issue with those kind of fights? Then in all honesty, we all know that styles affect the action of fights. I am sure there are many people in the boxing community, who could easily create quite intriguing boxing match ups, through their understanding of stylistic match ups'.

Before Oleksandr Uysk vs Tyson Fury I 'I was one of the very few people, who stated that the fight will be more action packed than people are anticipating. I stated this because? There was just too much on the line in fight, for the two fighters to just fight a skill for skill points scoring fight. And I totally disagreed with the cliches, and media narratives on Oleksandr Uysk's style as an fighter. I knew that Uysk was going to apply the pressure, because when analysing the styles of each fighter that was his best tactics for him to achieve the win'.

To conclude: Terrence Crawford is most likely going to try and duplicated what Floyd Mayweather Junior did to Canelo Alvarez 'Gears, movement, and skill for skill boxing. So I would expect that fight to be more action packed, but? Crawford in order to achieve the win, will be be fighting a more fundamentally dangerous fight than William Scull'.

But overall I don't think it was a terrible performance by Canelo Alvarez 'He appeared to be in solid condition, and won 95 to 100% of the rounds. It may have been a stylistically unintriguing fight, but it was without a shadow of a doubt a straight forward and easy fight for Canelo Alvarez' etc.
