I salute your point as being valid. If it all ended following Usyk-Dubois II, the 2nd Ukrainian to hold the Heavyweight championship won't be remembered as a champion who proved his worth against a large number of heavyweights.
That's a fact.

But luckily for his legacy, there's more than one way to achieve greatness in the sport.
