Let’s put both the highlights consisting all the action of both fights next to eachother to and every last one of you bunch will be ousted as FOS.

Lomachenko didn’t throw punches in the first six or seven rounds. That’s no one’s fault but his own. Floyd and Maidana are no comparison to that.

Lopez didn't throw punches either and the ones thrown were all on the gloves so it counts as points for Loma having superior defense (tm) ? The real work in that fight was done by Loma not Lopez.

I'm a big Loma fan, but he lost that fight. He gave it away on a silver platter because he didn't do anything at all for 7 rounds, and then Teo won the 12th. He was injured, and no way could Teo do it again, which is why Salido, Teo, and Haney all ran from the rematch.

No unbiased fight fan thought Loma won that fight.

People end up on these opinions when they solely stitch things together through BoxRec after the fact. Maidana beat up May better than what Lopez supposedly did to Loma it is all on tape.

Effective aggression.......Look it up and apply it to both fights.

You’re entitled to your opinion. But it is not one shared by most boxing fans, as this thread shows.

The same 'most boxing fans' will won't grant Maidana the W for having a superior side by side performance. The conclusion they come to is all hype based on some narrator on 24/7 saying 'cool things' if anything.

If slapping a guy behind the head, on the shoulders, missing wildly or smashing the ropes are scoreable punches, then yes. Miadana should have won every rd !!!!
