There wasnt much contact the first six. Teo was seen as the up and comer, next big thing. Everybody expected Loma to press action after 2 rounds of "downloading" but he didnt, so that was a mark against him, even tho Lopez wasn't catching him.
When Loma turned it on he won 5 in a row decisively, but then lost 12th probably. So the judges picked their new favorite, and the guy who at least was pursuing for those first 6 boring rounds. It is what it is.
Loma couldve picked and popped for the first few and probably took it home, but he was all style and footwork, and no pop, for 6 whole rounds.
