He was never hurt against taylor.

the fact that he didnt see the punch coming and that he had a bad ankle were factors int he knock down.

I think hes got a very good chin, think Abraham may really test it though.

but truthfully, it's harder to hit someone solid when they have their hands down than it it when they dont
your much more free to roll and slip punches

Example of Swirls sparring in the gym.

Watch the 3rd round. Froch was hurt, Taylor hurt him with 3 shots, the third was knockdown. Froch was lucky, that Taylor is a bad finisher, but more than that, he just had 30 secs. to finish Froch.

Froch has a good chin, maybe a granite one, but he is way too open, sloppy and wild. His punches are too wide, but his opposition was not capable of taking advantage of that.

I like Froch, he has heart, wants to fight the best and I think he isnt ducking anybody. But he clearly lost to Dirrel, and even Dirrel hurt Froch. Froch will have big problems against Kessler and AA. He quit has a chance, but with his heart and his chin he wont win against these two.

And I go further. Froch is in his prime. He is what he performed in his last fights. A strong, powerfull slugger in his prime. But this prime will be not long and if gets his first loses, he will fade away.

I dont like Calzaghe, but he should be happy not to fight him, even I like Frochs calling outs. If Dirrel made Froch loke like a fool, I have no doubt Calz. would do it too.
