Joshua vs Wilder is a fight that marinated wayyyy past its use by date.
Wilder turned down 100 million and ducked Joshua.

Joshua did not duck wilder and force him to fight Parker. This is what the people with the money wanted. Revisionist history. You are literally making things up

All along, the hope from the Riyadh Season organizers was that wins by Joshua and Wilder would lead to them facing each other next, and now the fight is fully agreed barring losses on Saturday.

Joshua agreed to fight wilder before he signed for wallin but saudi pulled the money. https://talksport.com/boxing/1582598...eal-collapses/

The General Sports Authority are staging Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou on October 28 in Riyadh, but were not involved with the Joshua vs Wilder agreement, hence why it has subsequently fallen through.
"That was supposed to happen in January, we accepted the offer.

"We know it's not materialised now. Because it was made by someone who couldn't deliver the fight at that time.

"We'd agreed, Wilder had agreed, now we're talking to other sites about that fight in February or March and that's still the plan, very much the plan."

Joshua has been trying to fight wilder for so long. You don't have the facts. Joshua offered wilder 12 million after wilders first ortiz fight when he made 2 million. Another duck right? He was pissing himself so he offered wilder 6 times his career high payday! Why would a scared person do that?

Oh then the next year he offered him 100 million. He knew wilder would turn that down! Lowball! Why would a scared person do that? Then he signed to fight him in 2023 but saudi pulled the money. Joshua controls Saudia Arabia now? Then he signed to fight him in 2024 but wilder lost because he knew Joshua was so scared of him that he just lost to give Joshua a break.

Why does a scared person constantly keep signing to fight him and constantly make him career best offers? You don't have the cards as mango muss-olini would say. Most of the time it was wilder not wanting the fight with some bad luck thrown in. Of course wilders pr team tried an all hands on deck propaganda assault claiming he was being ducked but facts show it was hot air.

Deontay is a star and he knocks people out.

A devastating knockout, even against a nobody, puts him 2nd in line for the Joshua fight in December. If Fury doesn't come out of retirement, then Wilder is 1st in line.

It's possible Deontay will lose every big fight he's in for the rest of his career, but with good management, he can still get two or three more big paydays.

Not buying it. Joshua had the freedom to choose his opponents with Turki.

If Joshua really wanted to fight Wilder he could have, would have and should have.

          He didn't. End of story.

The truth of the matter is, Wilder has turned down two offers made by DAZN for multi-fight deals which included him fighting Breazeale, Joshua, and a TBD. Sure, he made excuses like saying DAZN wouldn't disclose Joshuia's purse, and pledging his loyalty to SHOWTIME, but he really just didn't want that smoke. There's no need to defend his reluctance tooth and nail. The truth is the truth.

Deontay Wilder's mandatory defense against Dominic Breazeale will not air on sports streaming service DAZN after Wilder's camp rejected a nine-figure multifight offer, two sources with knowledge of the offers told ESPN.

Not buying reality? They literally agreed to fight and saudi said no we want interim fights first. I posted the link...how can you dispute reality?

Joshua literally offered wilder a career high payday in 2018 and wilder said no. Joshua literally offered wilder a career high payday in 2019 and wilder said no. Wilder then was busy fighting Fury in 2020 and 2021. In 2022 wilder was mia recovering/on the comeback. Joshua then agreed to fight him in 2023 and to wilders credit he finally said yes but saudi said no. Joshua agreed to fight wilder in 2024 and to wilders credit he said yes but he lost to Parker so the fight fell through.

How in the world can you blame Joshua? The truth is the exact opposite.
if wilder really wanted to fight joshua he could have but he decided to go in different directions and couldn't make it to the fight.

You do realize a fighter calling someone out or saying I want the fight means nothing right? What evidence do you have wikder wanted the fight? The 50 million offer that wklder msde to joshua over dm? Then when pressed he tucked tail and woukdnt send a contract? Thats actually cslled being caught bluffing.

Wilder wouldn't sign for the fight when presented with huge money and then wilder couldn't meet the requirements set out by saudi to get the fight. He ducked and then he suc-ked. End of.

Fück the Sauds and anything that happened before Joshua chose Wallin. Joshua could easily have said nah, none of that interim bullpuckey, I want Wilder now, but he didn't.
Joshua chose to shop wear Wilder through a tough outing with Parker while giving himself a tune up with his sparring partner who only turned up for the cheque.

You don't know what you are talking about. You are literally doing fan fiction. The only reason wilder finally agreed to the fight is because of the big saudi money. There was no big payday for wilder without them.

There is also no scenario where joshua said no I don't want wilder, let him fight Parker while I fight wallin. You are literally making that up. The Saudis wanted easy fights for both guys. Did you know wilder was -600 against Parker while Joshua was only -380 agaisnt wallin? Like i said you are doing revisionist history. So that means wilder was a bigger favorite than Joshua yet you are acting like it was a tune up for Joshua and a tough fight for wilder.

Not just Joshua. Everyone wanted Wilder. He was a sure thing with a big reputation.

But they kept him in house and fed him the myth of Luis Ortiz.

Even Fury straight out of the pub wanted Wilder. That was when Team Wilder messed up thinking that they were ones getting the sure thing with a decent status. Somehow they didn't realise that it was Fury who was getting that.

From that moment we saw the real Wilder.
