Yeah man, they call him "Average" Joe Parker for a reason.

He's alright, decent fighter sure, but far from elite.

Deontay and Marcellus Wilder are the Chin Brothers. They stay getting chinned. Deontay has a few problems. 1) Deontay always had stork legs, but they were strong. Now, they're not as strong as b4. So he can't spring off that back leg anymore. He used to be able to take that sudden big quick leap and hit a home run with that right hand. That was a major part of his game. But he can't surprise anybody with that no more. People can read all his movements, and back him up. He's not as sturdy or as twitchy as he used to be, so now he has to box. BUT... 2) he can't box. The one guy that was teaching him anything, he wouldn't listen to, and then he accused him of drugging him. (Still hasn't produced one grain of proof, by the way). Malik scott basically taught him to think too much, took his instincts away, but Deontay isn't cerebral at all. Respectfully, how can Malik teach him anything, when he knocked Malik out in less than 1 round? His defense hasn't improved under Malik one bit, as evidenced by how many times he's been chinned under Malik's care. Not only chinned, but knocked cold, head put to bed, perma dream, if you will. Those kinds of blows chip away at your motor skills, punch resistance, timing, reflexes, & how quickly you process things in the ring, 3) These deficiencies amount to greater chances of getting chinned over and over. There's no return to glory after all those bad knockouts, it ain't gonna happen...4) these current heavyweights are big, strong, & fresh, they haven't been punished like u have. They'll process faster than you. They'll go at about 50% grind you down, let you think you're in the fight. As soon those old legs get a little bit tired, and you do one of your many bad habits, something they prepared for in the gym, then they'll put a couple clean sledgehammers on that chin on that same nerve that has been rang many times b4, and your legs, body and brain will remember what to do--- crash to the canvas and go to sleep!! Go sit your narrow behind down somewhere and enjoy life, b4 you get hurt real bad, my man.

Everyone here would buy Wilder vs AJ.
I'm rooting for Wilder to make a short run where that fight can be salvaged.

He has to prove he knows how to win, though.

Wilder looks frail after his wars with Fury , not longer the threat he once was .

BUMSQUAD is back. Long as he sticks to unranked bums like all of his wins he should get more knockout wins.

Basically the way he fought AFTER he won the title. His style changed after due to “wanting more rounds” and it never moved out of 1st gear

Who is Deontay Wilder fighting next? His behaviour does not match his words 'I think this kind of talk from Wilder, is more talk to convince himself'.

I have stated this many times before 'Compare Anthony Joshua's actions and his words, they are always very closely matched throughout his entire career in terms of who he fights and the effort produced. Anthony Joshua even after his worst ever technical skill for skill performance vs Daniel Dubois, still has ambitions to become a three times world Heavyweight Champion'.

Therefore in comparison to Deontay Wilder 'Anthony Joshua's comeback fight is going to be against a top level Heavyweight fighter. Wilder is not even fighting a top level domestic American fighter, Tyrrell Anthony Herndon is in the way of no top level Heavyweight fighters'.

I rate Deontay Wilder as one of the three Heavyweight Mountains of this era 'But currently right now? I think you would have to rate Jermaine Franklin and Andy Ruiz Junior as the two best American Heavyweight fighters on recent form'.

Note: Deontay Wilder if he was really serious about attacking the Heavyweight Division again 'Should have been fighting Jermaine Franklin or Andy Ruiz Junior next in my opinion. There is no point in trying to slowly rebuild himself back in the game. Deontay Wilder is a former WBC World Heavyweight Champion, with 10 successful title defenses on his resume. Wilder knows how to fight, this comeback is all about his desire and how much he is committed to leaving inside of the boxing ring'.

And thus far, it does not appear like Deontay Wilder is committed to leaving all inside of the boxing ring 'In passionate pursuit of competing against the best Heavyweight fighters in the world. Deontay Wilder vs Anthony Joshua just like Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, are two of the easiest and most straight forward big Heavyweight fights that can be made. I totally agree with Eddie Hearn, when he stated? All it is going to take is one 5 minute phone call, to make those matches now that they are all contenders'.

But what is stopping those fights from happening is the real desire, and competitive nature of both Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder 'They have always been weary and intimidated by Anthony Joshua. At his best, worst and most vulnerable as a fighter this has always been very clear to me personally'. The only time ether Fury or Wilder have been mildly enthusiastic in fighting Joshua, was after his second loss against Oleksandr Uysk II. But even still at that extremely vulnerable stage of Joshua's career, Fury sabotaged the fight negotiations'.

To conclude: The three Heavyweight mountains of this era are Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder 'Joshua for as long as he is in the game, will be in the way of Wilder. So my suggestion is? If Deontay Wilder is really serious about this comeback? Then start confronting and issuing challenges to top level Heavyweight fighters. Because that is how Great Champions turned contenders have historically conducted themselves, no matter how many titles they had won in their careers'.

Deontay Wilder's decision to compete again is great for boxing 'But if he does not back up his talk, and at the very least compete against top level Heavyweight fighters. He will be doing himself an injustice, and his supporters' etc.

For all the claims of "Fury took something from him" and "he's mellowed too much", he was still the same Wilder against Helenius.

Judging him against Fury, Parker and Zhang and deciding he's lost something isn't a reasonable comparison. He can't box and he never could. Against decent level opponents he looked crap - what's changed?

But he'll throw his bombs against this bloke. The same Wilder we always had.
