Probably. I was speaking more in "don't count your chickens" terms. I don't believe for a second that Cardenas beats Inoue.

After MJ, he’s cleaned up the best at 122.
not complaining but more of an observation. he can fight 4x for all i care. i am just saying this might backfire on him for being too active and it's not always against top level opponents. when you fight guys that arent top level, sometimes, you dont really wanna work hard so you kinda half-assed your training, etc.. so you go into the fight being 80% while your opponent has nothing to lose and is giving it 100%.

You got to understand that this is just MJ and Eddie playing BS games as Inoue hasn't announced anything. Infact Inoue just said he is completely focused on cardenas and trained hard for it and is really excited to put on a amazing performance.

How is it not against top level opponents cardenas is ranked No 9 by Ring magazine and No 5 by TBRB. MJ is ranked No 2 by Ring magazine and no 1 by TBRB. Nick Ball is ranked No 3 by Ring magazine and no 2 by TBRB. All sold fighters and inoue is really excited for it. And being active keeps him motivated. And he said only special fighters can do that, like himself. And I agree.

Folks think that bc a guy is not a star or a highly recognizable name they're not a top. Anybody ranked in the top 15 is a top guy. Just that even at the top, there's levels to this ish. And Inoue is Japanese. They don't play about their discipline and are shamed if they fall short in that department. Cardenas' run on Probox recently has been impressive, but he's in extremely deep in this one. Gonna hafta fight the fight of his life to even be remotely competitive, let alone beat Inoue. Akhmadaliev is Inoue's biggest threat at the moment and the biggest fight left for him at 122. If Inoue can get past him, only move he can make to keep his momentum going is to go up in weight again and see how he fares up at 126.

He won an Olympic bronze, a World Amateur Championships silver, and made 3 successful defenses of the unified WBA/IBF 122 world titles as a pro. His only loss was by split decision to Tapales, a two-weight world titlist himself. He is the #1 ranked challenger by the TBRB at 122.

That non pro stuff is just filler
This is a huge step up and I applaud that.
I can't wait to see the odds on this one

How do you think they will go ?

Monster will eventually break him. MJ begged for this fight and now he has it. Be careful what you wish for. Monster in 8.
