Eubank Jr. should be ashamed he couldn't stop a damn welterweight. Lara will toy with him. Please no rematch. Let Benn get his head taken off by Boots or Norman Jr.

It was an entertaining fight. Eubank was simply too big and Benn does night fight well on the inside.

Benn fights for the money not for the bellts. If Americans want him, they must travel.

Y'know, you're not wrong. As entertaining a fight as it was, it also showed both of their levels. Benn would likely be destroyed in a spirited showing against the likes of Boots Ennis, and Eubank Jr has no intention of stepping in the ring with any of the middleweight champions for good reason (he's too smart for that). They'e kind of made for each other in more ways than one, but because of their limitations, they somehow meet in the middle to become perfect opponents for each other. Eubank Jr is a faded force (and he was never a great fighter even at his physical peak) and Conor, despite being game, physically strong and super fit, remains pretty raw and novice-like (in other words, he's just not that good and probably never will be), and yet, in that middle ground between the two, it strangely works out that they're each other's ideal dance partners to produce a mini-classic. Whatever anyone says about their ability or skill level, you definitely can't doubt their willpower or cojones. They really put it on the line tonight and gave everything in the ring. They emptied the tank and still kept going for another round or two. Yes, we'll probably see a rematch and yes, neither will face the No.1 in they respective divisions, but once the dust settles, I do expect Benn to try and get a fight with Barrios for the WBC title (providing he's still a titleholder by then) and for Chris Jr to take on Canelo next year as part of Saul's Riyadh contract (although if I was Eubank Jr I'd probably cut my losses and ride off into the sunset after beating Benn a second time in the rematch as it can only ever be downhill from here).

CEJ has had a long career & he is definitely on the slide. If the rematch is on offer then take it & get paid. He has to accept he will never be a world champion & TBBH, he needs to think about what he does after boxing. I was shocked that he made this so tough on himself.

IDK why people keep on with this. Since he stopped using PEDs Conor hasn't made 147 & he won't ever make 147 again. He probably could make 154 & he probably could make good money v Munguia, but, right now, the bigger payday will be rematch v CEJ

Eubank out hustled Benn in there imo. Was the bigger man and used his size to outland Benn up close. Benn had moments but Eubank for me landed the more effective punches through out the fight but was a really good British slug fest and definitely lived up to the hype.. for the money a rematch would make both would be silly not to take it but I would like to see Benn back at 147 I think thats where he's just gonna be at his best.

Eggy Hen done better than I expected. It was close but the experience of Eubank Jnr showed in the latter half.

I wonder what’s next for both. The Eggacy will likely go on as he’s still young.

Eubank Jnr probably hasn’t much left, looked drained. He needs to move up and fight at his optimum weight.

Benn better hope nothing happens to Barrios. Benn doesnt want to see Boots, not even on TV.
