Of course there will be a rematch clause in the Usyk/DuBois contract which extends the timeline way out for the Parker/Kabayel winner to either sit around and rust or risk a stay-busy fight.
Even the simple and obvious scenarios can't work in the real world.

Ive never understood the fascination in the big wooden horse, he avoided his 2 rivals until it was to late & has never beaten a prime elite heavyweight just shot 38-41yr olds. He's 6-4 & muppets still talk him up for world title shots. Barmy.

I think Usyk wins the second fight and I can't see him wanting to fight DDD again after that. Usyk is only a couple of fights away from retirement.

Forget DDD right now. Fight Parker, because ddd cancelled. Let DDD fight Kabayel for the last shot at Usyk before retirement. And I dont care if kabayel has been around for 40 yrs, he's bodying all opponents now, all in a row, and i bet he does it to Dubois too.

wilder avoided joshua thats just a fact. 100 million dollar offer turned down. wilder confirms this. not sure how you can be avoiding someone if you massively try to overpay him and yes they tried to massively overpay him, wilder got a pittance of that instead for his next fights which proves it was an overpay. you can say joshua su-cked and was a bum or whatever but why pretend he avoided wilder when it was wilder who avoided him

In before Duggum and the rest of the Joshuastans start bleating about subjective rankings and how ferociously ranked fighters like Wach are terra firma, and how Joshua beat all subjectively ranked champions! All of them! All 20 ranked heavy weight champs! Wowza!!!

Let the bleating commence... "wa wa wa Wilder never beat the paper Usca WBNA world champ wa wa wa... " Joshua would have produced an odious brown juice running down his leg if he had had to face Wilder when Wilder could still throw a punch. And all the paper contenders Joshua could muster would not aid him one bit as Wilder decapitated him like the Nordic Nightmare.

Everyone with any sense could see the writing on the wall if that fight had occured: It would have been the Tyson Michael Spinks fight all over again.

Good on Warren for staging the fight on his own in the UK. Riyadh Season Shmeason.
No doubt, flying all the way to Saudi Arabia has to take its toll on fighters. Not to mention, the crazy early ring walk times for fans.

I don't know about that, bro. At the time, there was an aura of confidence in both Joshua and Wilder, that I believe would have made for a great fight. Joshua only had the one loss vs Ruiz, which he avenged. Andy wasn't the physical specimen that Anthony was, which made some people astounded (AJ included) at how he beat the muscle-bound fighter. But Ruiz is no slouch. He has fast hands and can bang. Nearly all of Wilder's opponents before Fury were smaller than him, yet there were times when he was outboxed. That right hand saved him from some losses which is extraordinary, but that's all he had. Joshua is more skilled and very powerful too.

Super simple. Usyk knocks out dubois again and if Usyk wants to beat Parker after that he will..if not he'll retire.
