Shannon Briggs has no business in the ring when he was taking PEDs, much less now after being caught.

They say power is the last thing to go. I'd say Wilder's lost his timing and reflexes, which prohibit him from throwing and landing his big right hand properly.Comment

Saw Briggs fight live nearly a quarter century ago. I also remember when Briggs was undefeated and took on another undefeated prospect fighting out of the Atlantic City area...Darroll "Doin' Damage" Wilson. Briggs started fat, gassed and got stopped in the 3rd. A rare stoppage loss for The Cannon.Comment

I do NOT want Wilder-Briggs in the ring. At all. Not interested.
I DO want a Wilder-Briggs hype tour and everything leading up to being in the ring. The trash talk, the crazy answers to basic questions. The mouthing off to each other during photo ops. Please give me those two in a pre-fight-that-will-be-canceled sit down with a boxing journalist and let Briggs go first.Comment

Briggs wishes he accomplished half of what Foreman did, comparing Big George with Briggs is insulting to one of the best heavyweights boxers ever. Hell, a 48-year old Foreman beat Briggs decisively; Big George was robbed that night. What elite names did Briggs ever knock out? Contrary to Foreman, Briggs was unable to put world class fighters to sleep. Not saying he wasn't fun to watch, but he lacked the stamina to compete with the best boxers of his generation.Comment
