Good job by Boots. Let's hope he gets to follow this up with another unification fight. Has the chance to be a big star if he gets the fights. Eddie work your magic

Great performance by Jaron Ennis! It’s the best I’ve seen him perform. I thought he looked both sharp, focused disciplined and prepared in there against Eimantis.Stanionis.
Who fought to the best of his ability by the way but just lacked the physical ability to get inside and do his thing. Boots was just too good. He moved a lot this time.
However, he did caught with a few counters in the exchanges though. This was exactly the result I expected. If an opponent don’t move on Ennis then he is going to be very hard to beat.

Now Stanionis will get downplayed. The one thing he had going against him was inactivity but he performed like he always has, high guard, excellent jab and counters. Ennis was just too fast and found a way to get to his bodyNoAgendaBoxing likes this.

What a shame, that we live in the era of mismatches.
Ennis - Crawford is clearly the fight to make. But Crawford is on the way to get ruined at 168 for a pay day.

-Ennis being given mild criticism for eating punches, even if they did not hurt him, is fair in context. He is too good physically and too far into his career to put himself out there for open shots like that. To me, it is not a slam against him as a talent. Just what he needs to work on if he wants to be pound-for-pound elite.
Stanionis couldn’t find him. However, the moment ‘Jaron’ starts opening for power he gets countered between punches.
That is is only drawback as far as I am concerned. I disagree with your assessment of Stanionis. He is a good fight fighter but ‘Boots’ is an even better fighter.
Eimantis just lacked the physical ability to compete with Ennis. His lack of size, height, reach and power hurt him in this matchup against ‘Boots’.
