Oh no, a nobody lost respect for me. I hope to recover one day. You’re so pro Ortiz, it made you anti boots to the point that you’re not rational. I don’t even care about Boots and wouldn’t have cared if he lost last night or loses his next fight. But you wanted to claim that not moving up to face a non champion and preferring to unify your division was ducking. Since he went for the unification, you were posting all week about how tough this fought would be, your preference that he would lose, etc. But when he won in convincing fashion, you still found a way to shyt on it. You should lose respect for yourself.

Fair enough! I felt if Jaron would have the kept the fight on the outside to box more then he would have won by a landslide.
Stanionis couldn’t find him. However, the moment ‘Jaron’ starts opening for power he gets countered between punches.
That is is only drawback as far as I am concerned. I disagree with your assessment of Stanionis. He is a good fight fighter but ‘Boots’ is an even better fighter.
Eimantis just lacked the physical ability to compete with Ennis. His lack of size, height, reach and power hurt him in this matchup against ‘Boots’.Comment

I thought it was a good win and good performance, nothing earth shattering.
Someone said Boots will need to move to 154 to get properly tested and I agree; I don't see anyone at 147 beating him. However, I would love to see Giyasov get his shot.Comment

I expected Boots to win, but I expected a bit more from Stan. He was kind of made to order for Boots, though. As some stated before the fight, his style played right into Boots' strengths.Comment

This term of “weight bully” is non existent. It’s a made up phrase to make people feel better about explaining away a win. This has been going on for decades and you’d think people were aware of this dynamic. You either make the weight or you don’t. If you aren’t big enough to beat those at the weight in which you reside, drop down into another class. It’s simple.Comment

Good for him. Stepped up the competition, fought a titlist for the first time in his career, and made it look easy. Hope he can get Barrios and Norman in the ring after Giyasov, and then see if he can make waves at 154. Stanionis doesn't have one punch KO power, but he can crack and Boots took the few clean shots well. Answered a few of the questions I have about him, and did so in style. I think he's proven he's the class of the division.Comment

Stanionis gets bruised up around the eyes in pretty much every fight. He has high cheekbones and brittle skin, so he marks up pretty easy on top of that high guard where he's blocking punches but the force is still hitting him. Everybody marks up Stanionis, but nobody dominates him the way Boots did, and it wasn't because of his size.Comment

Damn, DClefthook watched an Eddie Hearn fighter on that DAZN app.
Hearn’s American takeover continues I guess.
