The chip on his shoulder and desire to prove something is exactly why I think Stanionis has a chance. Boots has a bad habit of trying to prove something and being defensively irresponsible, and that lets his opponents have success when they should be getting completely out skilled and outclassed. He's got all the technical tools to completely shut down Stanionis IMO, but I don't know if he's got the patience and ring IQ to pitch a more boring shutout. But that's part of what makes him fun to watch. I think it's likely to be a great scrap. Just hope there's no controversy.

Anything can happen. Stanionis gets his way too much and has the tendency to fight "******" when he falls into a brawl. I just don't like his lack of movement...nearly zero lateral movement, he just stands in front of you bent forward while willing to trade shots.

That said, if he's able to punch with Boots and punch between shots from Boots, then we're in for an interesting night! Other than that, Boots has a lot of real estate to hit and that's gonna be Stanionis's body because he stays right in front of guys.
