Every boxer that has fought Ginger in the last 8 years or is wanting to fight Ginger, is after a career high payday. The best way to punish Benavidez is to not allow him to make the millions that Bena would make fighting him or to give him the big stage to showcase his talents. Even if Ginger could or would beat his arse, Bena would make a minimum of $10 million. Allowing someone to make millions off of you even if you're allowed to beat him up with boxing gloves and rules is not a form of punishment, it's actually a reward.

Re-read my entire post man, not just the text that triggered you. I clearly stated that I believe Ginger has avoided David, but that I CAN UNDERSTAND THE REASONING in not wanting David to make Millions off of his name or allowing him the to showcase his talents on the big stage.

I'm not making excuses for Ginger, call him a puzzy all you want, I don't care! I simply replied to a post that implied that the best way a boxer can punish another boxer that disrespected him is by bashing him in the ring. I disagree, a boxer with the amount of power Ginger holds in the sport currently can punish a boxer he hates by not allowing him to make millions off of him or letting him share in the giant spotlight that he has.

Hate him all you want, but Ginger definitely holds power in the sport currently, if he didn't, Sulaiman wouldn't have allowed Ginger to avoid David for so long, boxers near or around 168 wouldn't be hoping or dreaming to fight him and more importantly, the current most powerful man in the sport(Turki) wouldn't have bent at the knee and overpaid him to sign a 4 fight deal with Riyadh...

You are missing the point. I explained why Canelo's reasoning is fake. He literally said on video, the reason he fought Charlo was because he disrespected him and did not believe in his skills, which is the direct opposite to what he is saying about Benavidez.

About the 5m offer. Yes we just have David's word for it and I am not going to entertain conspiracy theories where they are lying. I trust that he would fight Canelo for peanuts because he wants legacy. The money would come later.

Though I certainly believe Ginger avoided Benavidez, I can understand his line of reasoning in not giving Bena the fight. When a man is young or naive, wanting to physically hurt somebody that disrespects you is your first instinct to getting revenge, but that line of reasoning is for men who have no real power and lack intelligence.

Keyshawn said the same thing about Teo after the racist words and actions that he was recently associated with. When asked about a possible fight against, Teo, Keyshawn said "I'm not gonna allow this man to make money off of me by giving him a fight".

As a boxing fan, I obviously want to see Ginger fight Bena, but as an older man, I can definitely understand the logic when Ginger says he's not gonna allow Bena to make money off of a fight against him.

Well, one guy failed a drug test and missed weight to lose his title (twice) and can't seem to get what he FEELS he deserves while the other is having his way. Make that make sense.

Oh, right, because Canelo actually has a legacy while David doesn't have a leg to stand on. We ALL know you goofy "fans" are nothing to bet the house on, so David just has to deal with his situation.

Nothing worse than having to depend on the "fans" to demand a fight when you as a fighter ruined your chances, twice.

I think you missed the point I was trying to make all together, but that is OK. Canelo using that excuse or reasoning may very well be fake(it more than likely is), my point was that I disagreed with the first poster that I replied to. My opinion was that a more effective method of revenge for someone who has the ability to change someone's life be it financially or by the type of exposure that benefits one's immediate future is to not pay him no mind. That is far greater than getting up in the ring to beat someone with boxing gloves where rules are in place to protect a fighter just because they disrespected you.

I don't know Benavidez personally to vouch for his character or nobleness. You might know him personally and know how truthful the man is or you might have spent a weekend with him binging on C-oke where he confessed his whole life to you and professed his pure love for the sport(couldn't resist the joke Oracle, my apologies) and you now trust every word that comes out of his mouth.
