I agree, I've partied many of times with professionals of all fields and I know that it isn't a drug that only degenerates mess with, but unfortunately it is a drug that CAN lead to addiction that CAN result in one becoming a degenerate.

Here in California they dropped it down to a misdemeanor, if you're caught with a small quantity, but everything that alters your mind is bad is bad, in my opinion. At least that's how I see things nowadays.
