The only reason Dubois is even in the conversation is that fans don't understand the low blow line is defined by the navel, not the shorts. He was beaten comprehensively every second he wasn't fouling (and he threw MANY low blows in that fight) and then got stopped by a jab. I'll grant Hrgovic was a good win, but there shouldn't have been an interim title on the line then to begin, and then his first title defense after being upgraded by email was another guy who's already lost to the real champ twice. The IBF should have granted that exception since he'd already lost (and how does beating drug cheat Miller get you back into the title picture to get the Hrgovic fight?).

Beating Dubois again doesn't really do anything for Usyk other than give him back the belt he never should have lost. If he wants to build his resume, Parker is a better name. And Kabayel looks like he'll be the next big thing after Usyk retires if he doesn't get to fight.

Realistically, Dubois, then Parker, then Kabayel.

I was all for DDD next but he pulled out claiming he had some issues, and did we ever see a doctors note, statement, etc? Parker did what he was supposed to do and put himself in position for a well deserved shot vs Usyk.

DDD canFight his own mandatory as the main undercard fight.

Obviously Parker. Dubois already fought Usyk and lost, and on top of that he pulled out of the eliminator vs. Parker. If gets the fight over Parker, I'd be raising all kinds of hell. Eliminator for a reason.

Personally I don't like immediate rematches, Rematchroom held up the division & the belts hostage for far to long so you'd think my answer would be easy & Parker, but it isn't, It's Kabayel the body snatcher.
His last 3 fights he's taken 3 souls & looking at how Parker basically survived against Zhang & his low output where as Kabayel walked Zhang down from the 2nd & blugeoned him putting his faith in his chin on the line.
Kabayels body work v Usyk, come on that sells itself.

Given that Usyk has already made his pick, this article and debate is kind of pointless. He has said he wants to get all the belts and unify again which means fighting DDD next. It is also the biggest money fight in the UK, which is important when you are two fights away from retiriement.

If I had a magic wand I would make him fight Kabayel, but I don't so Usyk will probably never fight that particular hungry, dangerous, young lion.

I agree but for him the low blow/not low blow thing probably rankles, now he gets the chance to close the chapter with DDD & retire without even so much as a teeny question mark.
