And why the hell is Plant interim champ?
Dude loses to Benavides, is out of the ring for 18 months, and comes back to fight some guy I never even heard of for the interim strap.

So if Canelo vacates or retires, Plant gets elevated to WBA champ!
    Disgrace!
I think his last 4 fights really showed where he at

      That’s exactly my point though
All his boxing skills have been absent in his last four fights
McComby should of never been able to tee off on him and him making adjustments is just what was expected from the get go
At this point , imo , Plant would have a harder time than expected even fighting a Berlanga or Munguia
At this point, yes. Plant probably will have a hard time against Berlanga or Munguia. I expect Munguia and Berlanga would have their moments against Plant.

But Plant will still get the win against both for the reasons I stated previously. He’s still levels above both. Not by much, but enough to where he would still win.

He had a hard time with power something Munguia and Berlanga have over him
Had it been a few years back. I’d be the first to pick Plant cause he had the stamina and the sharp reflexes to avoid the much coming to him but from what I saw lately he is on a downfall
        My two cents

TBH, I'm more interested in seeing McCumby again. I think he's close to fighting Pacheco next.

              Ok Munguia
Yes he lost his last fight but you can’t say he’s on a downfall considering he did better than what most expected with Canelo
I think his style gives Plant fits and probably gets him knocked out
Styles make fights , right ???

I could see PBC matchup up Plant with someone like Rowdy Montgomery, Immanuwel Aleem or just dusting off Dirrell one more time and trotting him back out there.

Charlo, should be fine it into the ring, will get someone with a touch less pulse.

Y'all think back to that pre-fight press conference for Canelo vs Berlanga. Plant was in the audience and got into it with Berlanga. Canelo actually got involved in the trash talk on Plant's side. It was bizarre and very entertaining. That's why I'm hoping to see Plant get Berlanga next, for the trailer trash comedy. It's gonna be funny as szhit.

EDIT: Plant was on that card vs McCumby

That’s a fair assessment. I don’t think he’s that far past it. Unless Benavitez really took a lot out of him, cuz that was really the only bout where he took a lot of damage from what I’ve seen. Even against Canelo, he didn’t take sustained damage. It kinda ended quickly once Canelo really started to tee off on him.

Even though he lost against Benavitez and Canelo, he was still competitive against both of them.

I still think he should be able to outbox Berlanga or Munguia. As long as he doesn’t try to slug it out with either.

We’ll see though cuz if he gets caught like how he got caught against McCumby, he would be in trouble against those 2.
