"Down goes Frazier !! Down goes Frazier !! Down goes Frazier" Still one of my favourite boxing lines
RIP George
They said “He went peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones” Sounds like his family knew something but maybe chose to keep it private. 76 isn’t as very old, but big dudes don't tend to last long. 76 is a good run for a dude his size.
Coz of his granite chin, his body went through a lot over the years, he's now with the Saviour he served for decades. Had great career in the ring and one of the few boxers who made just as much money out of it with his "Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine"
That was his pride and joy. One of the most popular household items ever. He will be missedLEONIDAS26@ likes this.

Very sad news, big George foreman, the hardest hitting heavyweight champion of all time , wot a puncher George was. George foreman and evander Holyfield are my fav heavyweight champions, I never wanted to see that fight as I didn't want there to be a loser out of them, but after watching the punishment foreman sustained and walked through off a prime younger fighting machine like Holyfield at the time was unreal , wot a tough tough man George was, definitely one of the best of all time , not many would of beaten George foreman, god bless George, RIP.LEONIDAS26@ likes this.

He was the last of the 4 kings of the 70s.

I met him years ago at a book signing. He was as nice and funny as he seemed on TV. I still have that book around here somewhere.

What a legend! Tremendous heavyweight boxer, one of the most devastating punchers ever and a craftier, more skilled boxer than you would credit him at first glance. Also respect the transformation in his personality, from bad dude to jovial George. Gone, but will never be forgotten.LEONIDAS26@ likes this.
