Good for Bakole. Probably one of the cushiest losses in history.

I believe and this is my opinion but Martin Bakole showed us all who he is with Joesph Parker, can he be better? probably yes, but is he on a top level champion level? hell no!!!! A great fighter would never take a fight like a club fighter being completely out of shape and for greed. GTFOH

Just another fabricated monster who if he doesn’t blast you out by the 6th then it’s all downhill
        I guess boxing needs this
Turki will make up for it

Needs a blowout win here or it’s Michael Grant part 2.

Bakole took the beating for money, I believe him. What would any of us had done?

Let's see how he looks in his next fight.

I was previously rooting for Bakole as he looked like a handful for anyone, but the state he turned up in was unacceptable. I know he was out of camp, but his condition was unprofessional for someone who had supposedly been ducked by everyone.

Contenders need to stay ready for any opportunity. Case in point was Josh Padley on the same card. He had a full-time job and still remained in fighting shape, so much that he made the 3 day check weight (3%/139lb).

Most fighters outside of the BBBoC regulations wouldn't make the 3 day check weight even if they had a full camp, so full respect to Josh Padley for his professionalism to be within 4lbs of the lightweight limit whilst working full time and not being in camp.

Given Bakole's condition in the Parker fight, I don't think even 10 weeks' is enough for him to shift the excess weight.

Ajagba won't be easy to catch like Anderson was. He's long, moves well, has a lancing jab and good power. Bakole should come in no more then 270.

I crossed that loss off to Parker as soon as he ring walked. It was as obvious he was not in training and was not prepared, and against a world class fighter no less. If he looks good against Ajagba who is a legit HW and a talented, fringe top 10 talent in the division, that loss will be a side note in his bio. A young HW will have a true opportunity to be the next great champion as Usyk, Parker, and the rest of this generation retire. A ton of opportunity.
