Martin Bakole looked like he hadn't thrown a punch at anything since that Anderson win but he flew from Congo to Saudi, took a fight on a day's notice against a world level heavy who had a full camp....and got predictably whacked.

Make no mistake old Turki could make most boxers hop on a plane and get splattered if he put up the money.

    It's still prizefighting.

There was the weird era when you did have boxers like Gary Russell Jr getting paid a million dollars to beat up one of the Hylands and several similar fights. Those days are long, long, long gone now. Nobody is watching that now. Absolutely zero market for it.
Shakur’s last minute replacement became a millionaire and had Turki pay off a home for him

Turki will do favors for favors

Had some money left over too.

Is now a full time boxer and actually he's an electrician anyway which is pretty renumerated in itself. Be interesting to see how far he gets because he's a sensible bloke but he's obviously not gonna take too many batterings before he goes back to the day job

Really all depends on how. Losing a competitive decision inst a big deal to most. Other than the Mayweather nuhuggers and Gervonta Guzzlers, real boxing fans don't care as long as it's not an @ss whoopin

Could be the main reason why inactivity is prevalent in the US.
Fact that they're content in fighting once every 18 months.

Where'd you get that? Padley said himself on camera that there's no substance to claims that Turki got him a house, and his declared purse was 500K. Still very nice since he effectively didn't have to pay for a camp, but not millionaire territory. Don't believe everything you read on social media.

After you reach a certain level, you want to be evenly matched with an opponent.
Only a guys fan base will allow a bunch of "stay busy", mismatch, should not have been sanctioned fights.

Pretty sure he could pay his mortgage off with that.

                  So, losing isn't the issue,
How many mismatches per year is.

Frank Martin vs Edwin De Los Santos should have been made a long time ago. If not, why can't it be made now? What is PBC doing?
