Canelo, AJ, Fury, Usyk, Wilder, Tank, Crawford, Spence, Bivol, Beterbiev, Ryan, Loma off the top of my head are more known by the average person in the majority of the world than Inoue is. I have never once heard a boxing casual mention Inoue but ive heard most of those others names mentioned at various points. Why exactly would you think a small Japanese fighter who barely speaks and fights largely in Japan would be an actual global star? outside of Japan the guy is known by hardcore boxing fans only.
Cmon now, the average sport casual fan around the world maybe knows only Fury and usyk from that list.

If he is from Asia, he knows Inoue.

If he is from American soil, he knows Canelo

Bivol, Beterbiev, Crawford, Spence, Wilder known world wide ??? LOL

Huh, that's funny, because he's one of the only 6 boxers to appear in the top 100 highest paid athletes.

      #3 Fury, #7 Usyk, #20 Canelo, #30 AJ, #52 Jake Paul, #81 Naoya Inoue.

You see Tank Davis, Errol Spence Jr, Terence Crawford, or any American boxers at all on there? Yes, I'm going to force you to dignify Jake Paul as a boxer if you want to claim there's any at all...

He's the highest paid boxer of the lighter divisions of all time.

Funny how you tell people they don't know anything and you haven't even done your due diligence.

So what you're attempting to say is, hes famous outside of Japan...because hes at no81 on the Forbes highest paid athletes list? is there supposed to be a clear correlation there?

Let me ask you directly, do you think more people, spread across a wider range of countries and demographics, know the name and/or face of Inoue than Crawford, Tank, Wilder etc?

You seem to be making this some kind of American thing, when i'm not actually American. I just know that the tiny Japanese dude is only known by hardcore boxing fans outside of Japan, why are you pretending otherwise?

        Lmao...

How long do you think AJ, Fury or Usyk could walk the streets of just about any nation on earth without being recognised?

I said MORE known worldwide. Are you really disput1ng that? which Inoue fight do you think had more eyes on it internationally than Bivol/Beterbiev, Spence/Crawford or Fury/Wilder?

You are really slow. Only 6 boxers made the list. Those are, by definition, the 6 highest paid boxers in the sport. That list goes Fury, Usyk, Canelo, AJ, Jake Paul, Inoue. You see Crawford, Tank, or Wilder on that list? Those guys aren't even known outside of boxing fans even in the US. Seriously. You could ask pretty much anyone on the street if they know any of those fighters, and if they're not a fight fan, they won't have a clue. The hypocrisy here is absolutely wild.

You have the temerity to name the heavyweights who top him on the Forbes list, and then fail to recognize that the fact he's in that company might mean something.

The facts are you claimed he's not in the top 10 boxers, and he demonstrably and provably is. He was averaging 4 million+ eyes on his fights in 2018. Haney v Loma barely broke 1 million peak. His fight vs Nery had the highest viewership of any individual event in 2024, above Jake Paul v Tommy Fury, Tyson Fury v Francis Ngannou, etc. And he's the 6th highest paid boxer in the sport and the highest paid boxer in the lower weight divisions of all time. Smells a lot like bigotry...
