Only Canelo (with his Latino fanbase) is comparable.
I get that hes a phenomenon in Japan but guy is clearly not even close to being in the top 10 most famous active boxers globally.

He is definitely known but not to anywhere near AJ, Fury, Usyk or (weirdly enough) Del Boy levels, those guys are household names there.

The average person is not tuning in at 5am on a Sunday morning to watch Canelo fight John Ryder or Callum Smith (guys who could walk the streets of the UK completely unrecognised) thousands of miles away. Thats hardcore boxing fan shyt.

Generate better numbers where? again, I never said he wasnt huge in Japan. Lots of things are huge in Japan but basically unknown everywhere else.

Canelo, AJ, Fury, Usyk, Wilder, Tank, Crawford, Spence, Bivol, Beterbiev, Ryan, Loma off the top of my head are more known by the average person in the majority of the world than Inoue is. I have never once heard a boxing casual mention Inoue but ive heard most of those others names mentioned at various points. Why exactly would you think a small Japanese fighter who barely speaks and fights largely in Japan would be an actual global star? outside of Japan the guy is known by hardcore boxing fans only.

On the exception of Canelo being popular in Mexico & US. The avg ppl don't know who those others guys are outside of their country.

If you don't measure by numbers, what's your metric? You're opinion LOL.

Not gonna waste my time further, you obviously got no clue what you're talking about.

Cmon now, the average sport casual fan around the world maybe knows only Fury and usyk from that list.

If he is from Asia, he knows Inoue.

If he is from American soil, he knows Canelo

Bivol, Beterbiev, Crawford, Spence, Wilder known world wide ??? LOL

Huh, that's funny, because he's one of the only 6 boxers to appear in the top 100 highest paid athletes.

                      #3 Fury, #7 Usyk, #20 Canelo, #30 AJ, #52 Jake Paul, #81 Naoya Inoue.

You see Tank Davis, Errol Spence Jr, Terence Crawford, or any American boxers at all on there? Yes, I'm going to force you to dignify Jake Paul as a boxer if you want to claim there's any at all...

He's the highest paid boxer of the lighter divisions of all time.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the highest paid athlete in the world in 2024, earning $260 million.

Funny how you tell people they don't know anything and you haven't even done your due diligence.
