Boxing hasn’t been a US sport in about 25 years. Since the Klitschko brothers ruled the sport and more recently (last 10 years), the Eastern Europeans run all divisions above 147 pounds, which is majority of boxers.

boxing is an american sport like it or not... while other location such as dubai is starting to emerge as a top spot for boxing, vegas is and will always remain the meka of boxing.

canelo and others are venturing out to stage fights in dubai for the money, but not necessarily for exposure. canelo is already known globally, so now he's fighting for the money so he's going to go where the money is at... where as for Inoue, he's not really known globally and lots of it have to do with the fact that he rarely make an appearance on US soil.

Boxing in America is declining. You have no stars after Tank, PBC aren't doing numbers. Cinco de Mayo is Arab money now. America doesn't have the juice it once did.

Inoue can stay in Japan and make 7 figures if he wanted like AJ does in the UK. The rest of the world knows who Inoue is even if you're circle doesn't

Canelo is unknown outside U.S: and Mexico.

Inoue can fight on in Japan, I see no problem. Americans don`t really care bout that small divisions, do they?

if you say so.... sure he can fight in japan... i never said he shouldnt or couldnt... keyword: exposure.

all im saying is that if he wants to be more known, then he must cross that ocean more often... that's all... if he doesnt care about being a global star then cool, that's fine. i have no issue with that.

He's known already though. I'm not in the States or Japan. His fights are shown live here, he has Canelo status in the UK. In fact, he might be bigger because Canelo is on the downside.

When did I say he shouldn't fight in the US? I'm saying US isn't what it once was and he's globally recognised
