As an actual fan of boxing I'm just glad this happened, and it delivered a lot of great fights including the main event.

It was my first time ordering PPV for a RS card. I ordered via PPV.com for $27 and it was a very good experience. I will 100% be buying again if price is in that ballpark.

Agreed but why do you think they've entered boxing (and other sports such as football and golf) if they're NOT making any money? Surely it can't just be to boost the public profile of the country and to turn it into the next major tourist destination like Dubai?!

As for the card itself, I also bought it and felt that I got MORE than my money's worth. Also, like you said, it's GREAT that they listened to the fans and stacked the card with competitive fights from top to bottom and reduced the time between fights.

Just another shining example of why boxing 'fans' are trash and their opinions shouldn't matter all much. They cry and cry about fights being 'too expensive' but we get reports like this. This is why it's so easy to ignore them because most of them can't even put their money where their mouths are.

You mean to tell me they couldn't/wouldn't cough up a measly $25 even in this economy? So sad. And I don't wanna hear about the time frame at which the fight took place....that's an excuse! If this was the 'most anticipated' fight in boxing, there's no reason to miss and/or not pay.

This is why we can't have 'nice' things as boxing fans and again....it's another reason to ignore all of the butthurt and demands from said 'fans'. We'll keep getting showcase bouts and I can say we deserve it.
