Just can't see NYAC awarding Roach the win. NC might be a more realistic outcome, which Roach might not want? Can they even order an immediate rematch if they let the decision stand as it is, or would that need to be done by the sanctioning body as it's for their championship?

Its going to be near impossible to explain why they didnt, If Roach camp is appealing they going to have to over turn the decision based it on being scored a draw, a point must be taken for the knee without the other infringements that also happened, they gotta give Roach the win.

I don’t know what the official rules are in this case but it’s a bad look on anyone involved

Yes. I'd like to see that happen, I just don't think it will. Thanks.

A rematch doesn't do justice to the matter whatsoever and should not be contemplated as a solution. The matter goes beyond a KD/point deduction even though an obvious KD occured. The fact that Tanks corner attended to him without a timeout call by the ref, supercedes everything else. A DQ is the right call. And Tank's team can't argue that they would have upped their game afterwards in the case of a DQ as could be argued in the case of a KD.

Dumb azs move. If they win the appeal then there goes the lucrative rematch.

Why? You don't think Tank would want payback? He would definitely want the rematch with Roach!
