I mean, the UFC (and WWE) makes more money than basically every major boxing promotion combined and its CEO is about to be one of the faces of what could easily turn out to be the no1 boxing promotion considering the financial backing its about to get. That is kind of a takeover no?

And hes getting into boxing because everyone always used to do the whole "I wish boxing was run like the UFC" talk and Turki wants it to happen and has the funds to do it. Nothing to do with how good or bad the UFC is doing right now.

Oh and regarding overtaking the NFL, obviously nothing has a chance of doing that in America, its way too big there. But globally boxing, MMA and WWE are all bigger.

UFC is on the decline due to the DAGESTAN(Khabib) style of hugging in the ground. No action. No one wants to see 2 naked guys hugging each other on the floor, GAY.

Obviously everything is bigger than the NFL around the world, even cricket, darts, bowling.

There will be other competitors just like PFL and ONE, this honestly means nothing. Alphabet belts are not important. It's more of what people want to see. Most casual no nothing about belts, they just know the name of a fighter.

Theres only one Dagestani champion out of 12 current belt holders, and hes one of the most exciting fighters in the sport.

If we are including non-Dagestani fighters who use wrestling heavy approaches? Belal is admittedly pretty boring, Merab is often boring but his last title defence (against an actual Dagestani and literally Khabibs cousin) was one of the best fights ever in that division. Then if you look at the other champs theres guys like Poatan, Ilia and Aspinall currently and they are all extremely destructive and exciting to watch.

Well yeah that too, well there are lots of reasons actually, including the inflated ppv prices for a crappy product.

I mean if the UFC is so hot, why is Dana teaming up with Turki to make the new boxing league? Why can't the UFC stand on its own like the NFL? Because UFC is indeed on the decline.

If you mean Islam, I watch one of his fights and I got bored. Once they take it to the ground, I get turned off.

TKO will be like the UFC where their fighters DONT fight other MMA Organizations. That's not a WORLD CHAMPION, it will be TKO Champion.

Not sure how this makes sense to you? are you questioning whether the UFC (which again, makes far more money than Top Rank, PBC, Matchroom etc) could get into boxing on its own?

There is just no real financial incentive for Dana and the UFC to get into boxing on their own because its basically a guaranteed money sink compared to what they're already doing. Hes doing it because Turki buys into the whole "boxing with a UFC model" idea and as we have seen is willing to burn money for a higher purpose.

Also do you not get the irony of this "why cant the UFC stand on its own" comment when boxing has been almost completely taken over by the Saudis now? the Saudis have tried to buy their way into pretty much every sport out there including MMA but none of them have handed over as much of the pie as boxing has. Part of the reason is most likely that the WWE, the UFC, the Premier League etc etc have way more money of their own so cant be bought so easily.

The guy has gone to decision once this decade. Hes literally one of the most destructive steamrolling fighters in any combat sport today.
