If Gervonta "Tank" Davis fought against Mikey Garcia & Vasily Lomachenko in his mid twenties (2017-2021?), how successful would he be?

Maidana was poop at 147 with his only notable win being broner? Yikes. If he had beaten near prime hoya Mosley cotto pac etc...but he didn't. Not saying all those were his fault but pac cotto for sure. You get even less credit when you duck for so long then beat shells of fighters
    Yes you do.

Cotto and Canelo were both ranked #1 so we know by default to you that makes them a great win.

So you should retract that statement asap if i were you.

Probably beats mickeys overratedass but loses to Loma for sure. Main reason they want the fight now that he's 40 coming of surgeries

could or not. we will never know... since you brought those 2 names up and compared it with cruz and roach which are fighters that tank has fought.. so you cant say tank has fought nobodies if you are here comparing the 2 good name fighters that mikey fought and compared it with cruz and roach.

Lipinets was a lineal and TBRB world championship fight, which means Lipinets and Garcia were the top two guys at 140 at that time. Davis has 0 fights against anyone even in the top 4 of the division he fought them in at the time of the fight.

The Easter fight was a unification fight. Davis has fought 0 unification fights.

The Orlando Salido fight was a Ring world title fight. Davis has never fought for a Ring world title.

wow, a ring world title fight. still doesnt change the fact that it was against fighter's not worth mentioning.

mikey's style just wont give tank any issues... mikey is a slow pace fighter. he's not exactly a counter puncher. he just fights cautiously and at a very slow pace.. this will benefit tank.

Actually your point above is exactly what is destroying the future for so many fighters coming up

Lol the irony here is HUGE. Daggum actually made a distinction not based on subjective rankings but in doing so contradicted his own tried and true criteria for deciding who is not a "fraud" his words... You called him on it I wonder if he gets the problem here.

                    Nah, he won't get it.

I used to think daggum was trolling most of the time but I think I've come to conclusion he's just a combination of really dumb and really sad.

He's in this thread here discrediting Floyd's win over Miguel Cotto whilst literally in a thread yesterday praising Bam Rodriguez' win over Rungvasai

On what basis? Because Rungvasai was "ranked #1" But yet Cotto being ranked #1 doesn't matter. I have never seen anyone pick and choose when rankings matter as much as this brain dead joker. The lack of self awareness is comical.

Miguel Cotto actually beat ranked fighters before and after fighting Floyd unlike Rungvasai who hadn't beat a ranked fighter in 4 years when fighting Bam and hasn't since losing to Bam but of course that's a "GREAT WIN OVER THE #1 RANKED GUY" just because whereas as beating #1 ranked Miguel Cotto is not a good win or legitimate just because....

This is the same guy who considered RICO RAMOS a "great win" for Rigondeaux because he was "ranked #3" despite the fact Ramos is crap, but then will instantly shut down the equivalent of an obviously inflated rankings when it's the opponent of a fighter that he obsessively dislikes like Baldomir, Jeff Lacy etc etc etc.

You’ve been around long enough and are smart enough to know that isn’t a valid argument.

Also, can we stop with the he fought fighter X or Y so that is why he will win. The fight would be at 135 so I am not sure who wins.

This is the logic people used against Floyd once he got to the ODH fight. Not saying Tank is Floyd. Saying that logic and reasoning isn’t sound.
