Gotta feel bad for Roach. If Willis would've correctly called that knockdown, then Roach is the champ by at least split decision. That should be an easy dispute.

What a ROBBERY! Roach CLEARLY deserved the decision. Refree didn't rule the Davis knockdown but even without that it should've been a clear win for Roach. The World knows you beat Gervonta Davis, Lamont Roach.

So disgusting. Roach stood up to Tank and outboxed him 8-4. Bullied him. Controlled him. Wobbled him. Made him take a knee.

When was taking a knee not considered a knockdown, grease or no grease in the eye? And the commission itself (if I heard the commentators correctly during the fight) "agreed" that it wasn't a knockdown?!?! Was the referee incompetent, or paid off? And the spineless commentators treated the non-knockdown like it was some mystery, as if they were ignorant casual fans. Not a word of clarification about the rules, never mind of protest.

And the low blows by Davis! And the shoulder!

Davis also wiped his face/head with a towel after the bell had rung to start a round. That's not so egregious, but still an unfair advantage given to him.

The disrespect continued even after the fight. Instead of keeping the camera on Roach during his interview, they showed Davis as he walked away from the ring.

This kind of thing just continues to erode credibility in the sport. What a shame.

I agree with Fat Dan - 6-6 was the correct split of rounds BUT Tank took a knee and there's absolutely zero reason for Willis to not have counted that as a knockdown.

Taking a knee is not subjected to the Ref's opinion.... he took a knee. Period.
