This ref(Willis) is for the most part a good ref, but today he did horrible job. That was a clear as day knockdown & the ref even started counting then stopped. And let "Tank" continue like nothing. Tank literally got a time out in a sport where ONLY the ref could call a time out, not the fighter. And also hit low & even hit Roach with his shoulder & the ref saw it and did NOTHING.This was an example of heavy favoring the "A" side fighter big time.
The last time I saw something similar to this was Kermit Cintrón vs Sergio Martinez where Martinez got robbed twice that night. And by coincidence that fight also ended up in a draw.

Good comparison. I remember that fight well. Martinez hit Kermit so hard, he took a knee thinking it was a hesdbutt, got counted out, and then the ref waved them in to continue fighting, Kermit continued to be out pointed, and then smiled with a very “buddy-buddy” like demeanor when the scores were announced. If you legitimately thought you won, you would not be acting like that. He was relieved he got a draw. Martinez smiled but he smiled because he was absolutely incredulous. Martinez beat him twice in a single night and got duped. I have never seen anything like that since.

His fame shot up drastically after that, though. He got massive sympathy points and then cashed them in big time to get people riled up over the whole Chavez Jr. being politically maneuvered to weasel his way to snatch Martinez’s belt.
