It’s beyond ridiculous. Interim champions should only be necessary if the real champion is going to be out of action for an extended amount of time.

Kabayel is interim even though Usyk just fought.

And then on top of that the WBO had Kabayel in their rankings, but because he won his fight and became WBC interim champion he gets dropped from the rankings. The system is so stupid.
