I don't think that Turki knew the score , but just the appearance of impropriety is enough , especially in boxing which most people assume is rigged anyway. The guy basically running the sport shouldn't be playing favorites because it does effect things , even if only subconsciously pressuring judges , refs , etc to make him happy.
