Speaking to Seconds Out post-fight, Madrimov was asked who wins a Crawford vs Ortiz bout and backed ‘Bud.’
“You know, Crawford is top, top. He has power, IQ and speed. All [attributes] are good.”

ESNEWS asked Mean Machine who he think would win between Bud and Vergil in a fight? His answer was Vergil that he hits a lot harder than Bud. Also, both Vergil &. Crawford have stated that Mean Machine was their hardest fight in their careers so you know he ain’t no chump.

Yeah, I was discussing that with an Ortiz fan when he led me to this video. Made me respect Ortiz even more and I'd favor him over Madrimov if they ever fight again. I still respect Madrimov's willingness to fight all the top guys though...

I also didn't know that both Bud and Virgil had stated that about Mean Machine...

Nah bud won(albeit not in typical devastating bud fashion)and looked better, virgil lost first half of the fight easy, where bud had a jab and walked away with the last several rounds

you do know Canelo has to beat Scull first right? So he can get be undisputed again at 168. Then give Crawford the opportunity to do that, it’s all planned out! Canelo will win, get no respect as usual then go up and fight Bivol for undisputed after the trilogy with Beterbiev, defend against Benavidez, win or lose whoop on Jake Paul then retire the richest boxer of all time!

I don't understand Madrimov strategy here. He wasted too much energy on the first few rounds running around without throwing any effective combos. He looked like a fool dancing in the ring. Then 8 rounds onwards, he was so tired, he tried to fight Ortiz' fight, not even feinting like he did vs Crawford.
