I don't necessarily disagree with you, but there is the other fighter who happens to be a marquee fighter that loses out on the money he was to earn that covers time and expenses. Should he suffer for the other fighter having to pull out of the fight last minute??

He's not even likely to be badly injured in the wide points decision he's going to lose, and gets to say it's because it was short notice. Win win for him. And Shakur at least gets an opponent who is ranked with 3 of the 4 organizations. Honestly it's better than Inoue got when Goodman bailed last minute.

Meanwhile Schofield's already out of the hospital. In contrast, champs like Mikey Musumeci went straight from the hospital to the ring while still running a high fever to face an opponent 35 lbs heavier and beat the guy with the move his opponent invented. Different sport, I know, but for me, that's champ mentality.

he's got 4 KOs in 15 fights. last time I saw a mismatch like this it was Bruno Surace signing up to have Munguia kick his ass..

okay, not quite the same. Shakur actually has a defense, but I can dream can't I?

No idea who this guy is but he's going to win by first round stoppage and put an end to Stevenson's P4P reign. Nash out - His Majesty

He's 15-0 with 4 KO, none before the 4th round. That's a bold prediction, Cotton.

If he got a KO win over Shakur, let alone in the first round, that would be basically the guaranteed upset of the year. Bud beating Canelo wouldn't even be a bigger upset. Maybe if Scull beat Canelo... Imagine those two together as a parlay...
