I was looking forward to this fight. Floyd doesn't have the ring or event experience to really hang in there with Shakur but I'm willing to watch a guy step up if he truly wants it and see if he rises to the occasion. In the end this is only going to hurt Floyd Schofield. The Saud's aren't going to bank on him, GBP has egg on their face because of him, and unless Floyd can cough up some evidence of anything, he's the boy who cried wolf.

More then likely Floyd ate something, it didn't agree with his stomach, and gave him the runs.

Being fair it was Schofield that was begging to fight Shakur after Zepeda refused and not the other way around.

I doubt Shakur actually bothered to "poison" Schofield who he was guaranteed to get an easy UD win, but for the sake of the kid at this point lets hope he's legit sick (due to something unrelated to Shakur) and not simply ducking or simply couldn't cut weight. If he is ducking he just made a fool out of himself on possibly the biggest card in boxing this year, and if he failed to make weight then it shows his failure as a professional that he can't even control his weight for his biggest fight of his career and payday.
