I know but you said Holyfield was in his prime at 41 even though we've established he was geriatric with 6 losses.

It would be better to start an intelligent thread and leave you out.

Not until you start one and invite Floyd about the other fighters you mentioned.

But again at least you now admit Holyfield wasn't prime in 2003 and was in fact geriatric and a cherry pick.

Start a Toney thread. Invite Holyfield

Floyd boys hate to hear that floyd cherrypicked so these diversion tactics kill the thread
            Once again.

Show me ANY other cherry pickers in the history of boxing that won five lineal world championships in four weight divisions.

            Go ahead.

winning lots of stuff doesn not mean u are not picking and chossing when and who and where it just mean u are very good and are able to che4rry pick IF U WANT TO!!

By definition, beating the reigning lineal champion means you're beating the best available fighter in a given division. And if you win a vacant lineal championship, it means you won a fight between the consensus two best fighters in a given division. Those are the only two ways to become lineal champion -- beat the recognized king of the division or win a fight between the consensus top two contenders. And Floyd Mayweather did that five times in four different weight divisions.

You literally can't "cherry pick" your way to a lineal championship. Let alone five of them in four weight classes. In the entire history of boxing, only Pacquiao and Mayweather have won lineal championships in four weight classes.

Cherry picking is what Davis does. That's why he's never challenged for a lineal championship, he's never fought for a Ring championship, he's never had a unification fight, and he's never even fought anybody in the top three of the division he fought them in at the time of the fight. He fights for vacant belts, he fights for secondary belts and waits for the real champions to vacate, and he goes out of his way to find opponents from lower weight classes or opponents that are several years past their best.

Pacquiao is the one who ducked Mayweather. Even Roach admitted that.

Pacquiao was the WBO welterweight champion when Floyd beat him. He went onto win ANOTHER WBA welterweight world title after the loss. And, in case you forgot, Floyd is TWO YEARS OLDER than Manny. He was WAY more washed up when they fought than Pacquiao was.

Mosley was the lineal welterweight champion when Floyd beat him.

Cotto was the reigning WBA (Super) super welterweight champion when Floyd beat him. He would go onto win the lineal, WBC, and Ring middleweight world championship AND the WBO super welterweight world championship after the loss.

Margarito? You gotta be smoking crack if you think he ever had a snowball's chance in hell against Floyd. Good lord.
